ZCA received an EXCEPTIONAL EMPLOYER Award for 2008 which was presented by Exceptional Employers and the Center for Business Excellence.
Employers from throughout Volusia and Flagler Counties participated in a survey that meaasured areas such as turnover, growth, employee training, development and promotion rates, employee evaluations and feedback, percentage of employees injured, diversity of management, benefits offered, paid days off and average increase in pay.
ZCA was delighted to learn that they were one out of only three companies recognized as an EXCEPTIONAL EMPLOYER in the "50 Employees and Under" category (only those employees working in Volusia-Flagler Counties could be counted).

Relocation
ZCA’s home office, located in Ormond Beach, Florida, has moved to a larger, improved facility.
The new address is 300 Interchange Boulevard, Ormond Beach, FL

New Office
ZCA recently opened an office in Edgewater, Florida to service our clients
in Southern Volusia County as well as Brevard, Indian River and St. Lucie Counties.
New Services
Additional services have been added to ZCA’s multi-disciplinary
firm in order to better service our clients. Our new services include:
• Transportation Services: ZCA now provides the full range of Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering services.
• Arbor Services: ZCA can provide tree health assessments for specimen and historic trees, statistical tree surveys to reduce time and costs, and specimen and historic tree census data.
• Land Management / Prescribed Burning: Now, in addition to ZCA preparing Land Management Plans, we can provide the actual Land Management practices, including prescribed burns.
Congratulations
Lupita McClenning, AICP, and Beth Payne, AICP, planners with the Amelia
Island office, earned their NCI Charette Planner Certification. The National Charrette Institute advances the field
of community planning through facilitated public participation
and the dynamic planning process.
Beth Lemke, AICP, PTP, ZCA's Transportation Services Director, has earned
certification from the Transportation Professional Certification
Board as a Professional Transportation Planner(PTP). Beth is one of the first hundred planners in the county to earn this certification. |
