The focus of this position is providing professional engineering services for land development, utility and stormwater design projects. The employee will be responsible for the design and management of projects by applying engineering experience and knowledge to meet the client’s needs and the jurisdictional agency requirements. Primary responsibilities include design and supporting calculations for stormwater, drainage, and utility infrastructure for various projects such as sports facilities, commercial centers, residential development, roadways, municipal projects, parks and other land development improvements.
Candidates for this position must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience performing calculations, modeling, and permitting of stormwater and utility improvements, site design, and related civil engineering tasks in Florida. The candidate should possess a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a P.E. registration for the State of Florida is preferred. The candidate should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPAnet, and Stormwise hydroflow software along with strong communication and writing skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
